Prep Class Guide
This page contains important information for students taking a prep class with Henson Test Prep.
Prior to taking a prep class with Henson Test Prep, students should be registered to take the ACT, PSAT, or SAT test. Please do this early because space at the test locations can fill up quickly. This is your responsibility. Our classes are only to prepare the student for these events!
After you are registered to take a test, you can sign up for a prep class or arrange private tutoring with Henson Test Prep. You can register for a class at any time, however, your seat in the class will not be guaranteed until tuition is paid in full. Please be aware that our classroom space is limited. Those that have paid tuition will get priority when the rosters are finalized. Tuition must be paid in full prior to the start of class.
The quickest and safest way to pay is online through the Henson Test Prep website. We use PayPal which is very secure and allows you several payment options. To pay online, click on the "Pay Tuition" button. You may also send a check through the mail to Amy Henson, 1700 Crosswood Lane, Vestavia Hills, AL 35216.
Approximately one week before class begins, Henson Test Prep will send out a reminder email that contains information on class locations and times. Sometimes, there are changes that are out of our control such as severe weather conditions, or teacher availability. In the event this happens, we will notify you via email.
Students should bring two pencils and a calculator to class. Henson Test Prep will provide all other books and materials.
We will take short breaks as needed during the classes. Students may bring a drink if they wish, however, it should be in a resealable unbreakable container.
Classes begin promptly so students should arrive prior to the scheduled start time. Refunds are not given for students who are tardy and miss class time.
As always, if you have any questions or just want to discuss your options, I will be glad to talk with you.
I look forward to working with you and your student!
