Private Tutoring
Henson Test Prep offers private, one-on-one tutoring as an alternative to classroom test preparation for the ACT, SAT, and PSAT/NMSQT exams. We are able to match each student with a teacher with decades of experience in their specialty for the specialized help they need. Students will receive tutoring from some of the finest teachers in Birmingham, Alabama. We tailor sessions to the student's specific needs with convenient scheduling. Tutoring sessions can be done either in-person or online. In-person sessions are usually held at the tutor's home, local school or library. Online tutoring is done using Zoom video meetings.
Tutoring sessions are scheduled and charged by the hour. Rates depend on the individual tutor, but are generally $60-$80 an hour. Multiple tutoring sessions can be split between English/Reading and Math/Science tutors to give students the best outcome in all exam areas.
